refreshments are served in the purpose built shooting lodge, followed by the Gamekeeper’s briefing and drawing of pegs.

Guns take their pegs for the first drive of the day around 10am. Following elevenses and another exhilarating drive, refreshments – coffee or something a little stronger – are served prior to the final drive before lunch. Returning to the lodge, a hearty home cooked lunch is served between 12.00 and 2pm*.

After lunch a further two glorious drives are followed by cake and tea in the lodge before guests depart around 4.30pm taking with them a brace of birds and a bagful of memories.

*Depending on weather and light conditions or time restrictions, guns may wish to shoot through and enjoy their meal at the end of the day.
