The UK is generally reputed to provide the best driven pheasant shooting in the world and at Carrog Shooting we pride ourselves on presenting testing birds, the equal of any in the UK. Shooting has taken place for generations in this magnificent North Wales location, just off the Berwyn
mountains, overlooking the picturesque valley of the river Dee. Today the shoot is impeccably managed by Jim and Dawn Turner who have been providing exceptional sport together with wonderfully convivial family hospitality for over ten years. Shooting is available year round over a mixed range of field, woodland and moorland. In season the imposing topography provides a backdrop for some exciting and memorable sport. Starling and New Cover drives are especially renowned for spectacular, high curling birds which will challenge the most experienced guns and are guaranteed to get the heart thumping!
Out of season simulated game shooting is available on the same superb drives. The very latest equipment ensures speed and random movement, providing the closest possible experience to classic game shooting. Difficulty can be adjusted to cope with the skill of the guns.
